Tara Shiroff

Ms. SHIROFF practices practices litigation and trial work in the following areas: insurance defense, general civil, medical malpractice defense, negligence, product liability and premises liability. She is licensed and practices in Nevada’s state and federal courts.

Since 2006, Tara has been the legal consultant for the CBS Television series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. She provides legal consulting and research for the CBS writers and researchers for any legal issues relevant to episode scripts. Recently, she has become the legal consultant for “Drop Dead Diva,” which is the Lifetime Network’s new comedic legal drama television series.

Ms. Shiroff is an Honors College graduate of the University of San Diego (B.A. Political Science), where she attended the Semester at Sea Program, which involved three months of habitation on a ship and extensive fieldwork in Greece, Spain, Norway, Russia, Belgium, Morocco, Italy, Egypt, Turkey and Switzerland. Throughout her years in law school at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas William S. Boyd School of Law, Tara was the Vice President of the Student Bar Association and a Boyd Merit Scholarship recipient. Additionally, she was a Teacher’s Assistant for a criminal law class at Cambridge University in the United Kingdom.

Prior to joining Watson Rounds, Tara gained experience at two insurance defense/medical malpractice defense firms. She has successfully defended insurance companies, physicians and hospitals in a wide variety of defense cases.

Outside of the office, she enjoys tennis, whitewater rafting, movies and scuba diving.
