Mr. Francis, a partner in the firm, practices primarily in the areas of intellectual property litigation, prosecution, licensing, counseling, and entertainment law. Mr. Francis also has extensive experience in business litigation and transactional work.
Mr. Francis’s practice is diverse, and ranges from litigating Lanham Act cases for internationally-famous musical groups to negotiating complex agreements with Fortune 500 companies on behalf of startups. Mr. Francis strives to obtain the absolute best and swiftest result for each client, whether in the courtroom or at the negotiating table.
Mr. Francis distinguished himself as a dual-major (political science and English) honors graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno, where he also raced for the University of Nevada Ski Team. Mr. Francis earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence at the University of Montana School of Law.
Mr. Francis is licensed to practice in Nevada and Utah, all federal courts in those jurisdictions, and the United States Court of Appeals for both the Ninth Circuit and the Federal Circuit.
